Over the past 15 years LaDeau has toured and recorded extensively with his band, as a solo artist, and as a sideman in nearly every state of the U.S, Europe, Scandanavia, and the UK. Jon has honed his songwriting and performing chops by playing countless weekly residencies over the past decade of living in New York City and continues to to contribute to a wide range of recording sessions when not touring.

Jon is a current member of The National Reserve, whose recent highlights include the release of Motel La Grange (Ramseur Records) and the pleasure of sharing the stage with Tedeschi Trucks, Amy Helm, John Moreland, Margo Price, Lukas Nelson, North Mississippi AllStars, Brent Cobb, Charley Crocket and many others.

October 2019 sees the release of Jon’s 4th album, Roads. A journey rooted in the folk and country traditions that also stretches into more expansive improvisational territory. Jon has brought together some of his favorite musicians and singers from NYC and beyond to create an exploration of the many roads we all travel. Over the course of the album different travel partners come and go in the form of duets and guest appearances, leading us to unfamiliar places that feel like home.
